How much to charge for a banner on my website.?

October 11th, 2009 by admin

Hi,

I have a forex web site that has been up since Dec 12th

December was a bit slow with 151 Unique Visitors, 575 Visits, 2734 Pages, 4851 Hits.

January 1st to 3rd has 78 Unique Visitors, 185 hits, 868 Pages, and 1,420 Hits.

The other day I get an email from one the major forex brokers asking this:

I am interested in advertising on your site. Please let me know how much it would cost to place a banner (perhaps 160*600 or something similar in the left margin of the page)? How many page views and unique visitors does the site receive monthly?

I am completely new at this and don’t even know where to start in terms of price. To someone who is familiar with this and/or has done this before how much would you charge? What different options are there ie. flat fee, pay per impression, click or a combination possibly incentives for how much they deposit in their account. Any feed back would be great.

Mike

This is our charging structure http://www.shareworld.co.uk/index.php?page=advertise

Is it this easy to make money?

October 6th, 2009 by admin

I am working with a group that has helped me net about $500 per month with not very much work. (you can visit them here http://website.ws/kvmlm2/my.dhtml?sponsor=wvjock ). What I’m wondering is if there is any other programs out there that may work in the same way this one does.

I don’t have to do advertising, phone calls, build websites, etc… only do some referring which is relatively easy to do. Does anyone know of a BONAFIDE company that works like this one?

I’ll give you an example. The company I use right now does all the advertising for you. It costs $10 a month, and all you have to do is get people to click to their website. Once that is done they take care of all the advertising and other details. It’s an incredible program and I don’t have to sit in front of my computer for hours trying to make it work.

Ive tried the surveys, adclicks, all kinds of other programs on the net. This works, does yours?

sounds like advertising to me so thanks for the 2 points and i will report you N/C either

Can somebody help me understand this…?

October 6th, 2009 by admin

I want to advertise on a Graphic Design website and I got the offer from them "Banner 468×60" will cost me a $20.00 for 40 clicks(.50 cents per click).
Can you explain to me how this works, any tips and what should I aware of?
Thank you!

ok so, they will have a program or sumthin that measures how many people click on your banner
then you will have to pay the website according to the number
and i noticed u said 20$ for 40 clicks, this does not neccesarily mean 50 cents per click, they may only round up…
n when getting into these things always be sure its a trustworthy website, n even better next time just go through a third party that will have nothing to do with the website like google
the more useful your service or website is, and the better the advertisement is, the more clicks you will have… so be prepared to pay a little more when people will just click to your website look around n then get out
